Little Mimic

All these days that I have been putting on my makeup, cleaning up spills, reading at the table, or throwing things in the trash....someone has been watching.

And taking notes.

And practicing.
That is some impressive technique, given that she's only 2 years old. I mean, her hands may have been shaking (she was probably anticipating being caught), but she did do this without a mirror!
At least she's copying my better behavior. Putting something in the trash:
Cleaning up her spills:
And I guess reading at the table isn't "kosher" or "polite". But at breakfast and lunch, I can't help it. And apparently, neither can she:

What a GREAT post!! It's so fun seeing how they mimic us as they grow. I LOVE the 4th pic, she looks so beautiful there. I'm sure she'll treasure this post too someday.

Actually I meant the 5th pic but she's beautiful in them all so I guess it doesn't matter!

I, too, adore that fifth photo. She is one of the cutest little girls I've ever seen, and most talented! Can't believe she got mascara on her lashes. Amazing!

Those are simply the sweetest photos! I bet as soon as you saw her with the make-up job, you thought about what to say about it on your blog. That is a MUST post right there if I ever saw one! And, I have to say, I LOVE her hair as well in the reading photos, and the positions she's reading in. It's great to get to post pictures of kids the way we see them most days. Whoever said we need to be all primped up anyway?

The first time my girls steal make-up and put it on themselves I am ALWAYS amazed at how well they knew where to put which kind and how well they do at age two.
Savvy is no exception! They watch us closely.

Love these pictures to death.

You have me laughing. I remember when Karrilyn decided to do the same thing. We have identical pictures just like yours. She definitely has a good role model. How is training for the marathon coming? I am SO excited for you.
