Phill got orders a couple of days ago for us to move.
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON
in May 2011.
in May 2011.
I'm full of conflicting feelings! Excited for a new spot and excited to live hours from where I was born (Tacoma), hours from my brother, and hours from family I haven't seen for a long time, but wishing (oh so fervently) that I could take all my friends and family with me. (That familiar ache.)
Ah, well. Such is the life of a soldier and his family! Bring it on, Change. I've got my hands balled up into great big fists and my right hook is just WAITING.

So you're gonna fight it huh? You are such a delightful person, I'm sure people will like you right away in Spokane. It is a distance from where you've been for the last chunk of life, but you'll be good. No, I think you'll do GREAT.
Wow! Exciting! At least you have a while to prepare, and I'm sure you'll love it there. :) Good Luck.
Well...part of me wants to say DARN IT! But I hate it when people tell me that and there's nothing to be done about it. So..congrats! And I'm so excited that your blog won't move with you! And it will be fun to start planning and dreaming about life up there. That's always my favorite part. If I didn't post it on your last post, loved the essay. Love reading your posts...always good timeS!

:) Awrsome. I think you'll love it. And there's lots of green...and rain...well, I'd love that. I'm jealous you get to be closer to Isaac. Bring him down with you for a visit sometimes.
In the meantime, we REALLY need to visit while you're still "close!" :D
